Welcome to the web page for the Gold Country Youth Soccer League (GCYSL) of Nevada County in Northern California. GCYSL is a member of District VI of the California Youth Soccer Association.

Registration - The normal registration period is now over and we are putting together teams. We have limited openings in various age groups and locations. Please see the Player Page for details.
Referees - Referees are greatly needed for the 2009 season. If you will be 12 years or older as of Aug 1, 2009, please consider joining our staff of referees. High School students and adults are particularly needed to referee the older age groups. There will be 16 hour training courses available during the summer, which will be advertised on the website. This is a great opportunity to earn some money and to make a difference in our youth soccer programs. Call 272-5357 or email referee@gcyslsoccer.org for more information. For returning referees, we will be holding hands-on trainings sessions this summer, specifically for those who want to move to a higher level, including metro.
Coaches - We're always short of coaches. In order to put together teams on time, teams will be limited to the number of coaches we have as of June 4. Coaches signing up prior to April 15 will receive a $30 discount on their child's registration. GCYSL will provide clinics for all new coaches as well as advanced clinics for our more experienced coaches. The clinics will be advertised on the web page and are offered during May, June or July.
