Call to Order:  Dan K. called the meeting to order at 7:25

Roll Call :  Present – Dan Kumetat, Sophia Meyer, Steve Langley, Cathy Ivazes, Jeff Moore, Steve Schaffer, Hosea Bostic, Dave Pistone

Acceptance of Minutes:  Jeff moved to accept the minutes. Steve L 2nd.  Approved

Committee Reports:

Correspondence:

Its time to update WinReg.  A U8 parent called to protest having a bye.  A bye is normal in any uneven group and happens every year.  Dan K to call.  A Nevada city coach has kids asking to move teams because they’re practicing too early.  We don’t have the fields scheduled for that time.  Dan K. will call the coach to let them know that they can’t practice on unapproved practice times, or we could lose our right to use the fields.  Address of office has changed to 741 Maltman Drive.

 

Treasurer: Discussion of pending expenses.  Yearly taxes were filed on time.

 

District:  Dan K missed the meeting in order to get the fields striped for the first game.  Send emails to Dan K. with coach of the year nominations. 

 

Class I:  Getting ready for winter season.  We have 1 team that will need refs.

 

Metro:  Need to make sure that late deposits got into the correct account;  ie Metro vs Rec.

Registration:  Many kids are wanting to change teams.  Cathy is trying to deal with the legitimate requests.

Coaching:  Some coaches are saying they’re still short players.  Unfortunately, their rosters show they’re full.  We need to make sure that coaches send parents to us if they drop off teams, so we can have updated rosters.

Fields:  Steve S. moved that we make a donation toward Gilmore’s water bill for when we helped them reseed.  It cost them > $2000.  Sophia 2nd.  Approved.  Hosea will try to straighten out the Farm Supply bill.  Sierra College is overwatering.  Steve S will call.  We’ll look at new toilet vendors for next year.

Good of the Game:  UW women won gold.  We got fields & refs set up for first game!!!
