Correspondence: The contract for the photography was signed.
Treasurer Report: Current Financials. Need to move $5000 to the checking account to cover the last expenses from last year. Steve moved. Christine 2nd. Approved.
Committee Reports:
Coaching- Some U12-U14 coaches don't want to get their E license. Some coaches don't have their F license and aren't signed up for this year's F clinic. F is required by Gold Country this year. However, if coaches want to appeal that, they must make an appeal in writing to the board. Steve L. asked that we have coach's passes for Rec coaches this year. Also, he would like to set up an end of the year appreciation dinner for coaches.
Referee- We will raise the rates for referees this year, to make the younger groups more appealing: U6-$8, U8-$10, U10-$10, U12 & U14 lines-12, U12 & U14 center-$15. We need to let coaches know that the Veteran's building has parking for Hennessey. That might allow us to schedule those games closer together so the referees don't have so much dead time. For U6 & U8, we will request one person from each team to take a "mini" referee course, in case we're ever short referees. The 2 courses are posted on the webpage. We'll pay for shirts this year. We'll exchange sizes if the shirts are still in good condition.
Fields - Steve S. and Dan K will drive around and talk to all of the schools to make sure they're set for the fall. We might need to spend money on improving fields this year, particularly the Nevada City fields. The goals at Gilmore were vandalized after the season and will require repair. We need to come up with a solution to store those goals.
Registration - Steve moved to approve the new registration process. Christine 2nd. Approved.
Advertisement- The birth certificates are all audited. We're missing approximately 60 for currently registered players, some of whom are children of coaches. A letter will be going out to all of those explaining the need to bring in another copy. Flyers will go out to the schools this month. Banners will go up.
Additional meeting set for Thursday April 10 to cover registration details.
Good of the Game: The US will play Wales at Spartan Stadium on May 26.
Meeting adjourned.
