Attention all Referees
The 2008 season will begin August 23rd with a seeding tournament for U8-U12. U6 and U14 will have regular games.
There are 2 Initial Training Classes for new refs. June 17th, 19th, 24th 26th and July 9th, 11th, 16th, 18th If you know of anyone interested have them complete/pass one of the training courses and you will receive a $20 bonus! Refer them to our website and send me an email with their name and age. Remember, they must be 12 by Aug 1st to apply.
If you have changed your email address, you need to send your new one to Dave and myself. Use the referee link on the website. We will have a refresher course for all returning refs before the season begins. Keep your eyes peeled on the website for further details.
Ore Cart tournament is Aug 2nd and 3rd. Great way to make instant $$. Let me know if you are interested. It is an all girls tournament U12-U19. You will need a gold jersey. I will be placing an order soon, so let me know if you need any new supplies.

Clinics
- June 17th, 19th, 24th and 26st. From 5:00 - 9:00pm
- July 9th, 11th, 16th and 18th. From 5:00 - 9:00pm
Must attend all four classes within the month and pass the final exam to obtain your USSF patch. There is no cost. Gold Country will pay for your registration fees, uniform shirt and other accessories. You will need black shorts, black socks.
Classes are held at the Superintendent Building on Ridge and Zion, Nevada City. This is a great opportunity to make some cash and get some exercise at the same time. Pay is set by age group. Ranges from $8.00 - $18.00 per game your 1st year.

Interested in Refereeing?
We are always looking for new referees. The pay is $8-$25 per game, depending on level and experience. You must be 12 as of Aug. 1, 2008. Adults are always welcome. For more info and to register for referee clinics, call 268-1557.
